Greetings!
I would check the fuel pressure regulator. It is located on the fuel rail. It is round, about a quater size and has a vaccum line going to it. If the regulator is leaking gas than it can cause this problem. Pull off the vaccum line that goes to the regulator. Be absolutly sure there is no gas in the vaccum line. If there is, the diaphram has ruptered and there is gas entering the engine that is not accounted for and the regulator will need to be replaced!

If u find there is no gas in the vacuum line than here is another idea. U could have a bad mass air flow sensor. This is very common and can cause you vehicale to loose power along with many other drivabilty issues if the sensor is bad. The Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor uses a hot wire sensing element to measure the amount of air entering the engine.
The MAF sensor then outputs an analog voltage signal to the PCM proportional to the intake air mass. The PCM calculates the required fuel injector pulse width in order to provide the desired air/fuel ratio.
If the sensor is bad than this air/fuel ratio will be off.
This input can also be used in determining transmission Electronic Pressure Control (EPC) , shift and torque converter clutch scheduling.
Some MAF sensors have Integrated Bypass Technology (IBT) with an integrated Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor.
The MAF sensor is located between the air cleaner and the throttle body or inside the air cleaner assembly.

I work very hard to get u correct answers and to save u money. If this has helped in anyway, by fixing the problem, or even by narrowing the problem down, please hit the accept button. If my answer is unclear or if u need more info, dont be afraid to ask. Thanks!
