How do I remove the steering column spline from my 1995 Volkswagen Cabrio? It's the last piece that holds the steering wheel to the column. It's the only thing left on the column and I have to remove it in order to replace the ignition switch. Short of disconnecting the entire thing from the U joint I have tried everything, I think.
