Question

i adjusted the choke and fuel mixture on the 1979 chevy van ...

i adjusted the choke and fuel mixture on the 1979 chevy van because the RPM's were too high at idle.but now the van runs good in the morning when first started but until it warms up ,then if the van is turned off for about 5 minutes then started again it does not start at the first attempt and when it starts it wants to stall.what could br wrong?

Already Tried:
rebuilt carbuartor,adjusted choke and mixture

Did you adjust the choke with it warm or cold?
