cevorlet astro van when i turn on heat i can only get the

90 Cevorlet Astro Van, when I turn on heat I can only get the highest setting on blower, I checked connections on fan switch wire were connected so I changed fan switch still same problems I don't know if the is a nother part like a relay or were to look. I didn't thing that there is a problem with the blower only the fact there is one wire on it Thank for reply and help, Mark

Mark u have a bad blower motor resister. It is very common. It is located on the black plastic casing that goes around the heater core and evaporator core located under the hood.

No no no A bad blower motor resister. there is a differnce. The switch just commands the different speeds but the resister acctually does the resisting. the resister is the one that goes bad.
