I have a 1996 Chevy astro van and i'm having trouble with the directional switch for the heater I've ahd a mechanic install a new new switch but it still doesn't work it seem like the vacuum is hooked up wrong please help   rhunley102@comcast.net

Does it never change where the air blows?Is it stuck on defrost?Or do you not have any air coming out any where?

If you answer my question then I can attempt to give you an answer.I'm trying to figure out what you are talking about since the van doesn't have a directional switch for the a/c heater.So help me a little here if you want help.
