REPLIED Check Mark

I would guess you have the timing belt out a tooth or two.

I have checked the timimg marks the rear cam is right on and the crank is right on the front cam is less than half a tooth off. I was having a problem when I installed the belt, once installed I would rotate the engine twice and the belt would put the rear cam out one tooth. I'm not sure what I should do.

ACCEPTED Check Mark

There are no 1/2 tooth positions. It can be timed precisely. Your most likely out a tooth. If I remember right, that front cam drives the distributor which would explain your problems

I just double checked the timimg marks are lined up but the dist wound drop right on number 1 plug wire. I never removed the crank gear when I tore the engine down. I did remove the cam gears but I did mark them Front and Rear. I really don't know what to do next.
