I HAVE A 1990 CHEVY ASTRO VAN.THE CAR WON,T TURN OVER, LIKE YHE BATTERY IS DEAD,BUT THE BATTERY IS GOOD.COULD A BAD STARTER CAUSE THIS PROBLEM.WHEN YOU TURN THE KEY ON, YHE CAR MAKES NO NOISE,IT DOESN,T TRY TO START,NOTHING

Check for battery voltage at the big post on the starter.You should have it.Check for battery voltage at the small terminal with the key in the start position,this will require two people.If you have power there also the starter is bad.
