maybe oilpump problem?

I have white or blue smoke blowing out my tailpipe.It happens when I step on the gas.(even when im driving)could this be a problem with my oil pump may be its cloged? oh yea when the smoke comes out if i'm going up a hill i lose power like the van gets sluggish
