I personally have not done one of these. But. If one was to come into my shop, and need this repair done, below is the procedure I would follow to do it. According to the directions, you have to remove the Master Cylinder. I'm not completly sure if you can get around this or not.

Hey Customer (name blocked for privacy), JHoop here.

You should be able to unbolt the master cylinder and just set it over out of the way, instead of removing the brake lines going into the side of it. Do you need the book procedure of the master cylinder?
