i have a 1993 gmc g2500 van with fuel injected 350 i accidently shorted the wire on the fuel injector it had a bare spot and i accidently arcked across it and shorted it, now it has no power, is there a fuse or computer shot ??? dont know what way to go

Hello Psullivan and welcome to Just answer.com, Super mechanic here. You will have to see if there is power at the 15amp trans fuse. If not then I would say to check the fusable link at the starter, or back of the alternator. Here is a diagram of the injector circut. You might want to run power to make sure that the injectors are going to pulse, so that you know the ECM is good.

i checked all fuses with a test light, all are good, if i put gas in throttle body it runs i just dont know where it get its power from for the injectors

i took the adaptor for the air breather off,and the injector hot wire had a bare spot and i accidently arked it

yes they do tie into each other but the bare wire is after it splits

the fuse is not blown but no power on trans fuse or in the panel for trans fuse also
