Drove my truck home from work (25 miles), parked it for about a half hour ried to start it: it would turn over but not stay running. Feathered the gas with foot on brake got out of my drive way and drove it less then a mile, stoppede it for a few minutes and it did the same thing. Turn over and as soon as put in gear would stop. Had a friend look at it though possibly feul filter, had another friend look at it (also treid to change filter but would not budge) and he thinks it is one of 2 sensors. Question is which is most likely the problem: fuel filter or sensor?

ok...a faulty o2 sensor that could cause a stall problem would set a code...so I would go for fuel related... as soon as the truck dies...open the hood and look for the fuel rail...silver that has the injectors in it...look for the test port...usually has like a tire air valve cap,and shraider valve, just like a tire valve...when it dies, use a small screw driver and push down on the valve...see if you get alot of fuel squirt out...or just a puff and little fuel... hope that answers your questions... ps, if just apuff...you could replace the fuel filter but usually its a failing fuelpump... best way to tell is buy or borrow a fuel pressure gauge to attach to the test port and verify fuel pressure..should be 41-47psi. goodluck, tony
