Question

My 1990 V6 Dakota truck stalls while driving.

Sent to Car Experts June 08, 2007 5:26 p.m.

Hello:

I have a 1990 Dodge Dakota truck V6. While driving, it will stall out and I will have to coast to a stop and restart. It is then very hard to restart. I have replaced the starter coil, fuel filter, and starter pickup with no help. Sometimes, it will start back up while I am driving even though it is an automatic. My mechanic is stumped. Any help out there?

Optional Information:

Already Tried:
Replaced starter coil and wire, fuel filter and starter pickup.

Thanks,

I will check that out as soon as I can. Problem being that it is not an easy part to get to so it will take me a week or so to get to it. I have another vehicle so it is not like I am stranded. As soon as I replace it, I will let you know and then we can see if that worked or not.

Thanks again.
