Why will my truck start only if i disconnect a sensor?
Sent to Car Experts October 03 10:42 PM

Hi i have a 1990 mazda b2600i 4x4 and the truck will not start unless i disconnect the air intake temp sensor, It will then run at about 500rpm then i can plug it back in then the rpms shoot up to about 1100
but as i push on the gas there is a cloud of black smoke and this conditon gets worse as the truck gets warmer. I also should ad that i checked my spark and it is yellowish/orange shouldnt it be bright blue? Is this all connected to a bad sensor.
I have no way to get this vehicle to a shop so any suggestions will be of help.

Thanks
