Warning Lights

Have a 1989 Toyota pick-up high miles 319K but still runs good, lately the brake light along with the battery light go on together at random, high speed low speed, sometimes will go off at higher speeds. Checked the belt, ok checked the fluid OK what would meke both light go on at random then go off, Truck runs the same when light go on
Help, want to catch any problen before they affect the truck from running properoly.
