I have a 1999 Dodge Ram 360/auto with 173000 miles on it. The transmission shifts very strong and has never given any troubles until now. When the truck is cold, it works fine but as it warms up, it acts like the torque converer starts freewheeling once you let off of the gas. The engine reves up high and then it engages very hard. During this time, it still shifts great. Any ideas what could cause this? Bad torque converter?
