I drive a 2001 dodge ram 1500 with a 360 V8, the engine has a rough idle so I decided to do a full tune up distributor cap, rotor button, wires, and spark plugs. I bought an accel super tune up kit from summit. I put the cap and rotor button and wires on and did not have enough time to change the plugs, when I drove the truck again the idle was a little better that it was before but it still was rough. then I changed the plugs and the Idle still was the same. do you have any suggestions as to what could be going on? also when I was changing the plugs I did a compression check and my compression was about 150psi with about 5lbs variation between each cylinder.
