I have a 96 ex cab chevy truck and have installed a 5.3 L v8 and tranny in it had all the wiring but intirier harness was hacked up pritty good cant seem to get all hooked up quite right does any one know if pcm/vcm is avaible with out bcm involved? or what circut will allow me to enable the pcm/vcm to function as a stand alone ? I am a ASE master tech and have associates degree in auto tech can be a technical answer

have installed eng in1996 pickup and have it running on and off but it keeps loosing the security signal and the lights seem to have a mind of their own
