2003 ford superduty 2 wheel drive. I get bad steering ...

2003 ford superduty 2 wheel drive. I get bad steering shimmy inbetween 40 and 50 MPH.I also have a lift on the truck of 6inches. Will a steering stabilizer help? Or do I need more? The vehicle has the I-Beam front suspension.
