will the eng of a Ply Arrow fit the tranny of my 88 Dodge Ram 50

The eng in my Ram 50 is a Mitzubitshi? and I think a 2.9. I don't think it matters about the size, only if the eng of the Ply Arrow will fit the tranny of my Ram 50? Oh! the Ply is a 1980

If you are talking about a plymoulth Arrow truck and a ram D50 you might be able to swap they came with 2.0 and 2.6 liter engines. The 8 yeardifference might create a barrier But what you have to do is check the VIN # the 8th digits is either a U or a W if the 8th digits are the same you can bolt the bolcks up.

You may have to switch over many parts to make it work but it is possible if the VIN codes match.
