my 85 Dodge Ram truck will not keep a charge, my son has replaced alternator 5 times and voltage regulator 3 times and I have a new battery. where do I go from here ?

It gets weaker and weaker when you drive it.
IF you cut it off, it will not recrank, normally.

That souunds like a bad alternator or related wirinng. Get the battery charged and you can test the charging system with a digital voltmeter across the battery. With the engine running, loads off, it should read between 13.5 and 14.8volts if the alternator is working.
