pump engine start fuel auto wheel truck chevy

hello i have a 98 chevy truck 4 wheel drive 5.7liter auto.while trying to accelarate all the way the rpms will go up to about3800 and then it starts miss.checked fuel pressure and it is 62psi with switch on when you start the engine it drops to 50 and while getting on it the fuel pressure does not move it stays around 50to55 checked tps,maf,map sensors they are working like they should. could it still be the fuel pump or something else. your help would be greatly appreciated. thank you   michael G.

You should be seeing a difference in pressure betrween idle and acceleration. The pressure should be lower at idle when the vacuum is high. You may have a bad regulator.
