ford v10 engine stall and no start

hello, got a 99 ford e350 van, v10 engine, 190K miles, no prior problems. yesterday was driving, stopped at an intersection, truck died. Truck will attempt to turn over once when key is turned then nothing else. Battery is charged and good, gas is full. please help asap.

Reply to enginboy's Post: I had the starter checked, it,s good and put in a new battery. The truck when you turn the key just attempts to turn over once, then nothing. But then makes the same attempt each time the key is turned. ????help....
