I have a 2002 Subaru Forester and for the last two weeks I have smelled a burning rubber smell coming from the engine. I brought it to my mechanci and he said lets wait and see. My check engine light came on last week and then went off. Now it is back on. I do alot of high mountain driving and long trips for work in this vehicle.
