For a 2006 Subaru Outback, 4.1; My teenager backed car into a dumpster and broke driver''s mirror. I tried to replace it but couldn''t figure out how to get inside panel loose in middle of door probably around the electric window controls after I pulled it apart on outside edges. Please help. Dealership wants over $100.00 to do this. ouch!! Jan

Optional Information:
2006 outback outback 4.1

Already Tried:
poped off triangular iinside piece, unscrewed old mirror, unpopped around perpheral of inside panel, would not come loose - probably being held in place in center by electric window controls. No obvious screws on inside of door panel. Can't figure out how to remove entore inside panel. Subaru said as I go to unplug as worked my way up but didn't tell me how to remove entire panel.

you cannot see any screws anywhere. How do you remove the handle or any other part of the door to access the screws? this is the kind of information I need to be able to try and install the new mirror.
