I have a 1992 Subaru Legacy awd with the automatic transmission . It only shifts into 2nd gear when you shift into any of the forward gears. Reverse is ok . It was just in the ditch but does not appear to have suffered any damage . A local transmission shop suggested that the computer may have put the transmission into a "safe" mode. Any suggestions?
