I have a 1988 ford f150 6 cylinder. It died while going down the road, just quit running. It will not start back up. I checked and there is spark to the spark plug. I dIscovered I had no power to both fuel pumps. I then wired both pumps directly, and both fuel pumps ran but when i turned over it would not start, while pumps were running. I think it has something to do with what runs the fuel
injection, because there is no power to the fuel pumps and it won't even
start when running fuel pumps directly. I though it was the fuel pumps at first but both of them run. Can u tell me what would run the fuel injection, where it's at and how to fix the problem?

Optional Information:
1988 Ford f150 300

Already Tried:
test for spark at spark plug checked fuel filter both fuel pumps work
