I recently installed this spark plug non-fouler into my 1993 Honda Civic Dx. Well the problem I'm having is that now my civic is beginning to misfire in the same location that I put the non-fouler. Well, when I removed the spark plug wire, it had been burned and damaged and the spark plug was also damaged. But the other three spark plug wires and spark plugs were fine (I only put the non-fouler in one spark plug chamber). So I replaced the spark plug wire and the spark plug itself and the same thing occurred about a week later. I tried to take the non-fouler out,but unfortunately the spark chamber is too small for my tools to get down there and unscrew the dam thing. So it seems Im stuck with the non-fouler. Are there possible alternatives too better suit the non-fouler? Are there better spark plug wire that won't heat up and melt?

Unfortunalty, the non-fouler will not work with this engine setup. It will have to be removed. You should be able to remove it with a deep 5/8 socket, unless it was forced. If it was forced, the engine head may need to be removed, and sent to a machine shop for removal. If you can send some clear images to my e-mail of the fouler, I can evaluate the repair for you.
