91 Honda Accord

On my 91 Honda Accord 1 of the spark plugs shot out due to the treading being stripped. Can I retread with a kit that Pep Boys sells that they say they use , so no to   replace the head ? Have you heard of this kit and does it really work ?

Yes Heli coils work well be careful not to get metal shavings in the engine, use grease on the tap to allow the shavings to stick to the tap.

This is a permanent repair if done correctly, follow the directions. The only other choice is the remove the head and repair or replace. Chances are if you have the head repaired they will Heli coil it anyway
