I have just bought a 1995 saturn stationwagon sw2 series and the guy I bought it from said the egr seleniod needed to be fixed. we went to the mechanic and he said to easily fix it was to take it apart clean the carbon out of it and close the valve and not to place the sensor on it. We did that and I still have to two foot it. One on the brake to stop and one on the gas to keep it idle otherwise it will die. please help
