I have a 1997 Saturn SC. Three months ago I replaced the ground lug that was badly corroded that goes to the chassis ground. The car ran great and started acting like it was not getting a good ground again which causes it to turn the entire electrical system off. What happens is that you can start the car drive it and when you go to turn it off the entire electrical system shuts down. It may not come back up for another 24 hours or so.

My question is this do all the grounds for the car's electrical system go through the Power Control Module? If so is the PCM bad and need to be replaced to correct the situation? It acts like the PCM is somehow resetting itself after it shuts down each time.

Optional Information:
1997 Saturn SC

Already Tried:
Recleaned the chassis ground, but it still kills the entire electrical system on shut down.
