I have a 2000 Saturn Sport Coupe(Manual) and I am driving ...

I have a 2000 Saturn Sport Coupe(Manual) and I am driving at high elevations from 6000-13,000ft. When I try to climb the car starts to jerk like it is not getting enough O2 and almost stalls out. I wanted to know if there is something I can do to remedy this problem?
