1997 saturn sc1 that wouldn't start. Obd2 code said ...

1997 saturn sc1 that wouldn't start. Obd2 code said replace crankshaft position sensor and I did. Car still wont start. It turns over but wont start. I hooked up the obd2 reader again which displays no codes found. How can I have a car that wont start and no faults shown?
