I have a 1993 Saturn SL-1 - 106,000 miles - lately it requires oil and transmission fluid quite regularly although there is no leak under the car. Over the past few days, when I accelerate the car seems to buck and hesitate but once I get to a set speed it runs smoothly. Also, I don't know if the battery or accelerator is on its way out, as I've had to get a boost a couple of times lately. The lights stay on but it won't turn over. Thanks for your help.

Sounds like you have more than one problem to me.You have to be leaking or burning the oil.The transmission has to be leaking at least slowly because it can't burn oil.It sounds like you also have a misfire that will require the plugs, plug wires and possibly coils to be replaced.Lastly you have a battery or alternator/starter problem. If the garage is doing their job I'm sure they will tell you the same things.
