i just replaced an axle assembly on my saab 9000 for some reason as the axle rotates it binds in one spot enough so that it pushes the engine towards the passenger side about 1/4 inch the reason for the new axle was a drive side vibration i though it was the cv it was bad but now with the new vibration is worse any ideas

You can possibly loosen all the mount bolts and shift the engine/transaxle over using a large pry bar.then while an assistant holds it in this position, tighten the bolts. I may keep it in position to eliminate the problem.

yes to both questions. would badly worn companion joint cause the same problem? if so can i replace companion joint just by removing side cover of transmission? if so do you have directions and/or schematics you can email? thanks
