Pleium air chamber

what the different between alumunium air Pleium,and a molded plastic one?can I use an alum.on my 2001 F150 5.4 and I ahve a superschage transmission.more or less torque p.s the pleium is off an 1999 5.4.

what do you call the piecethe throttle body sit on?that what I am refences too (Alum) (molded plastic)?
