What is the proper way to hook up a amp gage and on to the starter selonoid and starter in a 67 justang v8. I am in the process of trying to rewire the car.

 

Optional Information:
Pre- 1981 Ford mustang 302

Already Tried:
the wiring diagram I have shows 2 ways to do this wiring. Wires are gm color coded
