I just put a clutch in my 1975 mercedes...Now the pedal ...

I just put a clutch in my 1975 mercedes...Now the pedal won't engage so I can cahnge gears. We bled the line   any ideas

Optional Information:
Pre- 1981 Mercedes-Benz 240d diesel

Already Tried:
new clutch, bled brake and clutch lines
