I was recently driving down the road with my 1995 Honda Accord EX automatic. I was getting off a ramp and meant to shove it into d4, yet i accidently sliped and it went into reverse. Now my reverse gear is grinded. I can drive perfectly in d3, d4, 1 and 2 but i can not go in reverse, and it makes a loud slipping noise. Im wondering if i have to get my entire trans replaced/rebuilt, or if because the reverse gear is the first gear on the trans i can just get that replaced! I feel like such an idiot, it wasnt even a manual, but if i can get it replaced, is there an estimated cost? Plz Help!!
