I own a 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser with 4200 miles and lost the ring & pinion gears while 4-wheeling, on this same trip a other new FJ lost his to. I was told that Toyota has had a problem with this rear end. Can you verify this or do you have any suggestions. I believe it is the 8inch The vehical has a V6 3.0 w/auto T,rear locker from factory, and the A-Tract system W/ABS.
