I have a 1985 380SL Mercedes. All the turn signals abruptly stopped working. I have checked the fuse and all the bulbs and all are ok. Any suggestions on cause?

There are (3) common possibilities, when the turn signals are inoperative. It can be the Turn Signal Switch on the steering column, the Hazard Switch, or the Turn Signal/Hazard Relay-Flasher. First I would try using the Hazards, see if they operate. If so this will elliminate the Hazard Switch. If not, I would replace the flasher relay second, since it is fairly inexpensive. It is usually located in the center councel, just ahead of the shifter, but they have placed it in various locations on these models. Below is the diagram of how the relay looks. If the problem still persists, the Turn Signal Switch will be the culprit, and will need electrical testing with a voltmeter to verify it's failure.
