Auto air conditioning problem.....unit will not take refrigerant,reads full. Can hear compressor cycling and was replaced last year. no visible leaks. Continues to blow hot air. Vehicle in question 1998 Dodge Dakota ext. cab, V-6, two wheel drive, 115,000 m.i..

Replaced compressor, last year. Tried to refill, gauge in danger zone, says may not need refrigerant

The compressor has failed or you have a restriction in the system, you will need a set of manifold gages to accurately diagnose the problem.
