Question

My a/c on my 2003 honda accord just stop working.

My a/c on my 2003 honda accord just stop working. The freon charge is good and there is 14 vdc going to the compressor, the compressor or clutch is not seized, however the compressor clutch will not engaged . Is there a coil on th compressor.

2003 Honda accord 4 cyc

Already Tried:
I have check the charge on the system and it is good. I have checked the voltage going to the compressor and got 14 vdc. I have insured the clutch is not seized by turning it with my hands

Do you have a dvom??

Do you have voltage on both terminals at compression?

Yes I read 14vdc on one terminal the outer terminal is grounded to the compressor

Do you have an ohm meter?

Turn key on and disconnect terminal to compressor tell me what happen?

While disconnected check ohms across terminals on compressor?? ohms=?? Make sure you test ohm meter before testing compressor!!

I have to do this when i get home at work now. Do the compressor have a coil that could be open or is the compressor bad if i read an open
