I have a 93 chevy c1500. When I am driving down the road, the a/c chills down to almost 50f, the problem is, when I idle, the compressor sometimes shuts off, sometimes it starts back up when I am driving at rpm's over 1500 but not always. Also we disconnected the plug on the condenser, and jumped it and this didn't start the compressor. Is there some switch keeping the compressor from running and low rpms?
Optional Information:

Already Tried:
Checked low side with cheap tire pressure type gauges. It says 44 psi. Jumped the plug on the condenser compressor didn't start, when a/c was set on high.
