2003 YUKON XL IDLE PROBLEMS

i have a 2003 yukon xl it will crank but idle is extremly rough wont hardly accerlate neither i took it in to be checked all problems that showed up on their computer was fixed but it is still doing the same thing do you have any answers? i found a recall on the fuel filters but could they be causing this big of a deal?it also is using alot of gas

Yes the fuel filter would cause this bad of a problem. Does it run like this all of the time? Who checked the vehicle out, and what exactly did they do?

Reply to BOBBY's Post: YES ALL THE TIME IT WAS A FRIEND THAT OWNS A REPAIR SHOP BUT HE SAID HE REPLACED THE PLUG WIRES AND FUEL PUMP BUT I AM IN QUESTION OF THE FUEL PUMP
