I am trying to wire interior LED's in my car. I am trying to wire in a rocker switch as well. It is a 3 connection switch; Power, Ground, and Load. How am I supposed to wire the power plug and the light to the switch?

2005 Dodge SRT-4 2.4L
Already Tried:
wiring power from plug to power, power to light to load, and both grounds to ground
