Hot A/C

I have an 05 Dodge Durango SLT. I was driving down the road and the cold A/C went from COLD air to HOT in an instant. With the vehicle being somewhat new and well taken care of, I wouldn't think it would be any kind of vacuum problem. The A/C hasn't been losing its effectiveness so I wouldn't think it would be a Freon problem. I have checked the simple things like the fuses and lines and can't find anything. Can you advise something I may have missed.
