Hi, I have a 94 Cherokee Sport with an aftermarket, remote activated ignition locking device that is also connected and triggers the drivers side door lock. I took the battery out of the remote years ago because I found the whole setup to be a nusance. Recently, the device was triggered, I think through a short, while attempting to start the car. I tried the remote with a new battery, but it's old and throughouly F-ed. Is there any way to fix this?
