My 94 golf III gl 2.0, 4 cyl seems to lose reverse pull, and unless im on a hill going backwards i dont get but 1 mph outta of it. forward gears 1-5 work fine nothing wrong there.. i was informed by one tech it was a linkage problem. but to me it feels like the 'TEETH' on reverse gear, there are missing a few give a feeling of revers then large grinding noise happens when you try to fully release the clutch

any ideas
