Problems with my 92 Suburban.

I drive a 92 Suburban 4x4. I am having major problems with my cars idle speed,i guess. Im thinking its the idle speed because everytime i stop at a light or stop sign my car    turns off. I am also having problems with my wind shield wipers. sometimes my wind shield wipers work, and a lot of the time, they dont. I just started my first job and need a dependable ride back and forth. Please help ya boy.
