I have a boat with a 455 olds motor we replaced the coil, hooked the wire from the key side to the positive on the coil and the negative from the coil to the distibuter and there is no spark from the coil to the distributer, but there is power across the wire to the distibutor is this right

What type of Ignition are you running Breaker points or electronic?
